INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA
The organization, MGPCS is continuous celebrating International Day of Yoga since 2015 and many free yoga camps were also organized at Shree Somnath Mandir campus, Jind, District Jail, DAV School and other various schools of District Jind, Kaithal, Hisar, Fatehabad. People were made understand about yoga and Meditation which are very beneficial for our health.

AYUSH AWARENESS CAMP:
An AYUSH awareness camp is organized by Samiti to promote the traditional systems of medicine in India, which includes Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy. These camps aim was to raise awareness about the benefits and practices of these alternative medical systems, often providing free consultations, demonstrations, and educational sessions.

YOGA CAMP FOR CHILD AT D.A.V. SCHOOL
The Kids Yoga Adventure program aims to introduce children to the benefits of yoga in a fun and engaging way. The program focuses on enhancing physical health, emotional well-being, and mindfulness through age-appropriate yoga practices.

Mahatma Gandhi Prakritik Chikitsa Samiti has been successfully organized Campaign, National Seminars, Workshops such as National Seminar on Yoga & Naturopathy, National Seminars for rural women health, National Workshop on Youth and Adolescents Health, National campaign on Yoga & Naturopathy for holistic health, International Day of Yoga, National campaign for Yoga and Diabetes etc. from 2003 onwards.

The idea behind organizing a Yoga Camp on Gandhi Jayanti is to promote the values of physical well-being, mental peace, and spiritual growth, which align with Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy of life. This event serves as a way to bring people together in the spirit of unity, health, and non-violence.

PRISON YOGA PROJECT
MGPCS is organizing Yoga Camps, Life Skills and Transformation Programs for prisoners at District Jail, from last 20 years’ time to time. The Prison Yoga Project aims to provide incarcerated individuals with life skills for stress reduction, emotional regulation, and physical well-being through the practice of yoga and meditation. The yoga program seeks to foster a sense of inner peace, self-discipline, and rehabilitation. Prison Yoga Project has developed a holistic approach to rehabilitation and transformation within the criminal justice system. Our programs are grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed yoga and embodied mindfulness practices, that life skills individuals for self-regulation, self-discovery, and personal growth.

YOGA AND MEDITATION PROGRAM
Physical and mental therapy is one of the most important achievements of Adi yoga. So far, Adi yoga has succeeded in diseases like asthma, diabetes and blood pressure, where modern science has not. Besides this, Adi yoga has proved very effective in cases of epilepsy, hysteria, rheumatism and many other ailments of chronic and constitutional nature. In fact, we have found that most diseases of chronic and constitutional nature can definitely be reversed through Adi yoga.

Yoga is a balanced state of the body and mind. Yoga is a balanced state of emotions. Yoga is a balanced state of thoughts and intellect. Yoga is a balanced state of behavior. We are excited in the situation of pleasure and we become sad when it is a negative situation. Yoga is to maintain equilibrium of the mind in any situation. This equanimity of mind is the ultimate objective of yoga, this was stated by H.H. Acharya Dr. Meenakshi ji at the yoga program. Hatha yoga is not only a method of preparing the system for spiritual awakening, it is also a very important science of health. Since ancient times it has been used by yogis and rishis for the relief and elimination of all kinds of diseases, disorders and defects. It is true that the practices require a bit more time and effort on the part of the patient than the conventional therapies. These camps were usually held in communities, schools and are aimed at spreading knowledge about holistic health practices.

Gandhi and Health: A workshop was organized on Mahatma Gandhi’s approach to health, diet, and naturopathy, highlighting how these principles can be integrated into modern life.
The Role of Yoga in Non-Violence: Discussions on how yoga promotes non-violence (Ahimsa), both in personal life and in society.
NATUROPATHY CAMP:
Samiti organizes naturopathy camp for holistic approach to health that emphasizes natural remedies, lifestyle changes, and the body’s inherent ability to heal itself. These camps provide an opportunity for individuals to experience natural therapies.
Objectives of a Naturopathy Camp:
- Promote Natural Healing: Introduce participants to the concepts and practices of naturopathy for improving health and well-being.
- Educate on Lifestyle Changes: Provide guidance on how to make healthier lifestyle choices through diet, exercise, and stress management.
- Demonstrate Natural Therapies: Offer hands-on experience with natural treatments such as hydrotherapy, mud therapy, yoga, and more.
- Increase Awareness: Raise awareness about the benefits of using natural methods to prevent and treat common ailments.
